The nemesis of a slow start got the best of the Bears and their chances to move on in districts. The Bears traveled to Fowler to take on the Wolverines of Vestaburg. They had high hopes that the third time would be a charm, but the Wolverines had other thoughts. The Wolverines jumped out to a quick lead with a suffocating press that forced turnovers and led to easy buckets in the first quarter. The Bears found their groove for the rest of the game outscoring the Wolverines in the second and third quarters. In the deciding fourth quarter the Bears were outscored by five to seal the game and the Bears season. The Bears were led by Ellie Drummond 16 points 7 rebounds, Marissa Brady 11 points , Karissa Brady 8 points 12 rebounds 4 assists, Jazmyne Good 2 points 5 rebounds, and Peyton Rohn 1 point.
